Montresor
Montrésor Village
Montrésor is a charming village nestled on the banks of the Indrois, one of the smallest communes in Touraine with less than 1 km².
However, this has not prevented it from being classified as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France. It must be said that this picturesque village in the Indre-et-Loire region, with its white tufa stone walls and half-timbered facades, is also home to semi-troglodytic dwellings and has a rich medieval heritage. The village of Montrésor owes much of its reputation to its castle, built between the 11th and 14th centuries. However, the village has many other assets, in particular the collegiate church of Saint-Jean Baptiste and its market hall. From the heights of the castle, there are beautiful views over Loches and Montrésor.
Come and discover the pretty village of Montresor located in the region of the Châteaux de la Loire!
